Pancit Palabok Recipe

For the love of noodles, yesterday I experimented how to make pancit palabok sauce. Here is my version 

Ingredients:

For Pancit Palabok Sauce:

a can of cream mushroom 

1 glove of garlic

1/2 onion, minced

1 tbsp atchuete powder or 2 tbsp od atchuete oil

In a frying pan, saute garlic and onion until golden brown. Then, add cream of mushroom. Mix the atchuete in a small glass with a little splash of water, then add this to the pan. Bring the sauce to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

For toppings

a can of tuna chunks

spring onion

hard boiled eggs

fresh lemon, sliced

fried garlic minced

fried Onion

pork Chicharon ( used ground crootons)

 

For the toppings you can always experiment. You can even add some cooked shrimp, squid, smoke fish etc. What I did yesterday, I sauteed the tuna with garlic and onion. And after I drained the cooked  sotanghon, I put it a a plate and poured the palabok sauce. Then garnish with toppings.

FTF- Nilagang Baka

Yehey, time goes so quickly. It's Friday once again and time to drool our eyes food trippers!

This was when I went to my friend on Sunday, and it was perfect because Ate Naty served this nilagang baka for lunch! When she invited me, though I finished lunch at home, I didn't refused to grab it. Ang sarap kaya! Hehehe!

Halo-Halo @ Chowking

Hello, food tippers.  I'm quiet busy for these past few days, and didn't have time to pop in here! I missed the food , I missed visiting you too ^_^

By the way, the weather here is soo hot! The humidity is too high,  that makes me so tired too. No A/C because it's broken and Sara didn't bother to ask somebody to fix it. (malapit na daw siyang mamatay ika niya) Huhuhu! Anyway, with this hot , humid weather. I'm happy  that mom had a halo-halo at Chowking last week. Glad that she let my sister decide where to go. Other wise they'll end up eating halo-halo in the market. My mother hates to eat in the proper restaurant, and my sister hates to go to the market. LOL!

Loads Of Chocolate

Hey, hey! It's Friday once again and it's time for Food Trip. Well, these week I gonna stay home (makapurdoy sege laagg) Hehehe!

Well, I have no food to share today but this morning when I cleaned up the freezer. I found these loads of chocolates. I think I got these chocolates last April, during my birthday! Hahaha! I have no time to eat but I keep buying the other chocolates that I love!
